BTF Institute is a nonprofit research organization providing objective analysis and effective solutions that address the challenges facing the public and private sectors in Iran.
The BTF has pursued its nonprofit mission by conducting research on important and complicated problems. Initially BTF focused on issues of education. Eventually, BTF expanded its intellectual reserves to offer insight into other areas, such as public policy, technology, and science.
Most of BTF’s staff had been educated in National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET).

Today, BTF emphasizes several areas of research that reflect the changing nature of an Iranian society such as entrepreneurship in Tehran. Much of this research is carried out on behalf of public and private sponsors and clients. BTF also conducts its own independent research on issues that otherwise might not receive funding.
BTF can help corporations and other entities when there are no templates to follow, where new ground needs to be broken, where problems need to be defined in a new way, where research in specific content areas will benefit business, and where private interests intersect with public policy.

BTF’s Future

BTF continues to address difficult challenges throughout Iran. BTF’s future reflects its past: anticipating emerging issues; establishing new angles of inquiry; and mapping the territory for responses by government, business, and society. Commitment to these high standards will continue to define BTF’s work in the years to come.
BTF wants improve policy and decision making through research and analysis. At times, sponsors or clients may ask BTF to deliver research without suggesting a specific course of action. At other times, BTF may provide a range of solutions with an analysis of advantages and disadvantages.

BTF is not university or management consultant but wants to have capability of both.
